My Passion
AlpsCraft Adventures is a project created from the combination of my passion for mountain expeditions, programming (which I've been professionally involved with since 2021), and journalism (which I studied).
My mission is to share knowledge and inspiration with other lovers of mountain hiking. I believe that every trip to the mountains is not only a physical challenge, but above all an unique adventure and a chance to commune with nature.

About Me
I come from Poland, and in 2012 I emigrated to Vienna. Thanks to emigration, I discovered the Alps, which I instantly fell in love with. After a few years of hiking and completing my journalism studies, I decided that I wanted to share my adventures with other people, which resulted in opening the blog Przygody Szymona (Szymon's Adventures) in 2017. In 2019, my son Tymon was born, and a year later I stopped actively publishing, which was mainly related to my career change to IT - after changing industries, I focused on technical topics, the continuous learning of which is an inseparable part of the programmer's profession. AlpsCraft Adventures is an attempt to reactivate the blog project in a new, more international version - on a new, self-programmed platform. Thanks to this, I can combine development in the industry with sharing my expeditions.
